About Me
Kennedy Jo Christensen
Kennedy Christensen is an artist from Brooklyn Park, Minnesota. Kennedy attended Robbinsdale Cooper High School from 2014-2016, then Perpich Center for Arts Education in 2017 and graduated in 2019. During her time at Perpich, she focused on furthering her education in the arts and explored new medias while gaining experience with exhibitions, portfolios, and gallery experience. Kennedy recently graduated from the College of Saint Benedict in May 2023 and has earned her BA in art, with a minor in psychology. While at CSB, she furthered her education and experience in the arts and plans to pursue art therapy. Kennedy’s thesis work focuses on the vulnerability and fragility of grief, and the journey of the grieving process through a blend of painting, clay, light, and shadows. Kennedy's current work is focusing on themes of nostalgia that is rooted in emotional connections and processes.
